School cell phone ban gains traction in Arizona
Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne says he supports legislation for a statewide ban on cell phones in classrooms. The topic has gained traction recently with several school districts across Arizona enacting their own bans to start this new school year. Earlier this year, Arizona Governor Hobbs vetoed a similar bill saying it should be up to the districts to determine if they want to put a cell phone ban in place.
