Child rushed to hospital after near drowning

PEORIA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Rescue crews rushed a 2-year-old to a valley hospital after the child nearly drowned.

Crews got the call after 1 p.m. Monday when the father reportedly found the child floating in a pool.

An off duty firefighter and nurse helped perform CPR on the child until rescue crews arrived.

The child was breathing when they left for the hospital.
