More than 21,000 children’s toys sold on Amazon recalled over choking hazard

More than 21,000 TooyBing wooden bead stacking toys sold on Amazon are being recalled because their wooden beads can pose a deadly choking hazard to young children.

The recall covers about 21,758 TooyBing Wooden Bead Stacking Toys, model TB-MZWJ, according to an Aug. 13 recall notice. The toys violate the federal ban on small parts in products intended for children younger than 3.
No injuries or incidents have been reported.
The multicolored toys contain 25 wooden beads, two wooden sticks with red and yellow string laces, eight pattern cards and a wooden pegged stand. The packaging is labeled "TooyBing," "Montessori Wooden Toy" and "Fun Bead Sequencing Games." The model number TB-MZWJ appears on the back of the packaging.
The recalled toys were sold on Amazon.com from July 2023 through December 2025 for about $10.

What you can do:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toys and keep them away from children. To receive a free replacement, consumers should contact TooyBing and destroy the recalled toy by cutting the red and yellow string laces and writing "RECALLED" in permanent marker on top of the wooden pegged stand.
Consumers must then email a photo showing the destroyed toy to TooyBing at tooybingwoodenbeadrecall@gmail.com and dispose of the product.
Replacement toys that comply with federal requirements are not expected to be available until October. Consumers can register with TooyBing for a replacement and will be contacted when one becomes available.
The toys were manufactured by Guangzhou Yide Toys Co., Ltd. in China and sold by Guangzhou Kunfeng Trading Co., Ltd., doing business as TooyBing.
