Eagle rescued after being hit, stuck in car's grill

Deputies and fire rescue personnel rescued a bald eagle from the grill of a vehicle Saturday.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said the bird flew in front of a vehicle and was jammed right into the front grill. Clay Fire Rescue was able to rescue the eagle. They turned it over to the B.E.A.K.S. Wildlife Sanctuary and it seemed to be in okay condition, despite being hit.

The sheriff's office posted photos of the bird and the rescue on its Facebook page.
