Firefighters battled fire at Phoenix building

The building, according to fire officials, was vacant at the time.

PHOENIX - Phoenix Fire officials have released new details surrounding a fire that burned a building in Phoenix late Thursday night.

The fire, according to fire officials, burned in the area of 18th Street and McDowell Road. The building had been unoccupied for several months, and crews managed to get the flames under control.

No injuries were reported, and a cause of the fire is under investigation.
