Ford recalls more than 420K vehicles due to windshield wiper failure

Ford Motor recalled 422,613 vehicles because of a windshield wiper malfunction. 

Recall includes Navigators, Expeditions and some F-series trucks

What we know:

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the recall impacts Lincoln Navigators, Ford Expeditions and some F-series trucks. 

According to the recall notice, the arms of the windshield wipers may break, causing the wipers to fail. 

What's next:

The NHTSA says owners can take their vehicles into a dealership to be inspected and have the wiper arms replaced.
