Is X down? Users report outage on social media site

Tens of thousands of X users reported problems with the social media app and website Friday morning, according to the DownDetector website.
X, formerly Twitter, is owned by billionaire Elon Musk.

What we know:
Reports of X being down peaked around 9:40 a.m. with more than 150,000 users reporting issues. That number has since dropped to fewer than 6,000 users.

Users said posts weren’t loading on the "For You" and "Following" feeds.
What we don't know:
It’s unclear if the issue has been resolved or what may have caused the outage. X wasn’t immediately available for comment.
