Man crashes into palm tree and it comes crashing down onto his truck

A man is in critical condition after crashing into a palm tree in Phoenix, causing it to land on his truck.

PHOENIX - A man is in critical condition after crashing into a palm tree in Phoenix, causing it to land on his truck.

It happened at 29th Avenue and Cactus Road, according to Phoenix Police, when the tree came toppling down onto his truck after hitting the tree.

Impairment is being investigated as a cause of the crash.
