Masses of fans congregate at State Farm Stadium for Cardinals-Packers game
GLENDALE, Ariz. - It was a sea of red and green at State Farm Stadium with fans from both teams gearing up for the big game.
Some traveled all the way from Wisconsin to cheer on the Green Bay Packers in sunny Arizona.
"We had friends that came in from Wisconsin," said fan Ken Pierce. "They said the whole plane was full of Packers fans."
Then there's those die-hard Cards fans who can't help put rub in the statistics on their team this year.
"7 and 0 doesn't say enough, we want to show the rest of the NFL and the country that we're the top team in the NFL, the best team to beat!" said fan Ronnie Williams.
Win or lose, Cardinals fans say they're excited for a great rest of the season.
"We're at the beginning," said Raina Ramirez. "We're excited for playoffs!"
As for the groups with opposing fans - they'll at least keep things civil.
