1. Memorial for crash victim torn down
It has been months since an Arizona man died in a crash, and the victim's widow recently discovered that a memorial erected in her late husband's memory has been torn down. Now, she is wondering who would do something like this.
2. Remains found on Phoenix trail identified
Phoenix Police were called to an area near the Holbert Trailhead after a hiker discovered a skull that "showed what appeared to be trauma." A set of car keys and the victim's clothing – a dark blue sweatshirt, jeans, a plaid dress shirt, and Converse shoes – were also found.
3. Man who faked having cancer sent to prison
A Chandler man has been sentenced to nine years in prison after he faked having cancer and ALS to defraud his family and friends.
4. Future of the Pac-12
The Big 12 announced Friday night it is adding Arizona, Arizona State and Utah as members next year, completing its raid of the Pac-12.
5. Day at amusement park takes sad turn
A six-year-old child was rushed to the hospital on Thursday with serious injuries after possibly falling off a roller coaster at the Kissimmee Fun Spot amusement park, according to paramedics.
