PD: Bicyclist falls onto road, hit and killed by car in Phoenix
PHOENIX - Police say they are looking for the driver of a vehicle that hit and killed a bicyclist after he fell onto the roadway in Phoenix.
According to Sgt. Vincent Cole of Phoenix Police, the man was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk just after 7 p.m. near 18th Street and Thomas Road when he "somehow fell onto the roadway" and was hit by a car.
The car did not stay at the scene after the collision and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's identity has not been released.
No suspect vehicle information is available at this time.
