Police: Double homicide in Scottsdale connected to Steven Pitt shooting
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Scottsdale police have determined Friday's double homicide to be connected to the shooting of psychiatrist Steven Pitt on Thursday.
The two victims from the Scottsdale shooting, Veleria Sharp, 48, and Laura Anderson, 49, were paralegals at law firm Burt Feldman Greneir.
Police are now investigating a homicide involving an adult male at another Scottsdale business on Morgan Trail, but are still investigating to see if this is related to the other homicides.
Police say they do not know the identity of the shooter - they only have the sketch.
Steven Pitt was best known for his role as a forensic psychiatrist in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case and the Baseline Killer case.
Silent Witness and MCSO have combined rewards in this case of up to 11,000 dollars leading to an arrest. An additional reward of 10,000 dollars may be earned after conviction, courtesy of ATF bringing the potential reward up to 21,000 dollars.
