Police investigate deadly shooting at Circle K store

GLENDALE, Ariz. - A west Valley Circle K store turned into a crime scene following a shooting near 83rd Avenue and Camelback Road.

Police say around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, a man and woman were inside a vehicle parked in front of the store. At some point, the woman was shot and the suspect is unknown.

Authorities say the man who was with her is being questioned and hasn't been arrested. He stated the woman shot herself. The relationship between the two people is not clear.

The surrounding area will be shut down until police clear the scene.

No names have been released in this case.

The investigation continues as police work to determine if this was a murder or suicide.
