Reward offered in armed robbery at valley pet store
PHOENIX - Police have released surveillance video of a robbery at a valley PetSmart store, and a reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
According to Sgt. James Rothschild with Silent Witness, the armed robbery happened on Tuesday, February 6 at 6pm at the PetSmart store at 24th Street and Baseline in Phoenix.
Police say two suspects entered the store and walked to the register. The second suspect pulled out a gun and the two men took money from the register before leaving the area.
The first suspect is described as a black man measuring five feet three inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with khaki shorts, a gold necklace and a black beanie hat.
The second suspect is descirbed as a Hispanic man measuring six feet one inch, weighing 160 pounds, with a large sore on the left side of bottom lip.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. You can remain anonymous and there is a cash reward involved for information leading to an arrest.
