Scottsdale fire crews rescue horse from canal

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Scottsdale Fire's technical rescue crews helped save a horse that was stuck in a canal near Indian Bend and Hayden Road early Saturday morning.
Fire crews worked with a veterinarian and the Arizona Equine Rescue Organization to get the horse out of the canal.
The operation took nearly four hours. Fire officials have not given any information on the horse's origin.
