Silent Witness, Post Office seek mail thief
MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Silent Witness and the United States Post Office are offering cash rewards in connection to a string of mail thefts in the northwest valley.
Silent Witness tells Fox 10 that the suspect has been breaking into mail boxes in the areas between 3500 and 8500 W. Bell Road in Glendale and Peoria.
The thefts have been ongoing since February.
The suspect is described as a white man, who is 35-to-45-years-old with a stocky build, 6'0" and 220 pounds. He has also been seen riding a bright orange mountain bike.
Silent Witness is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest of the suspect and the Post Office is offering a cash reward up to $10,000 if there is a conviction in the case.
