Taco Bell is allowing customers to create their own custom orders and share them with the rest of the world.

What you can do:

The Mexican-inspired fast-food chain said it was rolling out "Fan Style," a new in-app experience that allows customers to create, name and share their custom orders.

Customers will also get rewarded if their creation is chosen by others. Their creation could also land a spot on the restaurant's national menu for a limited time.

The restaurant will also allow selected customers to briefly advertise their own creations on July 29 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. local time, when Taco Bell will roll out a one-time Tuesday Drop via the Taco Bell app. Advertisements can include digital billboards, movie theater previews, and sky banners.

What they're saying:

"Our fans know every inch of the Taco Bell menu, so it only makes sense that they help dream up what belongs on it next," Taylor Montgomery, Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell, said in a news release. "Fan Style is about giving them the power to show off their creativity and pride in their go-to orders. This isn't just customization; it's about creating something that's perfectly theirs, and maybe even inspiring someone else's new favorite. It's the ultimate fan-first move – and it just might land their creation on menus nationwide."
