Tom Kane, legendary 'Powerpuff Girls,' 'Star Wars' voice actor, dies at 64: Reports

Tom Kane, known for his iconic voiceover roles in popular series such as "The Powerpuff Girls," "The Wildthornberrys," "Star Wars," and many, many more, has died. He was 64 years old.
Kane died on Monday in Kansas City, surrounded by his family, Zach McGinnis, Kane’s representative, told TMZ.
Kane died due to complications from a stroke he suffered in 2020.
From video games, promos and TV shows, you’ve likely heard Kane’s voice at some point.
He regularly did voiceover work for commercials and movie trailers for Disney, Pixar, Sony, FOX, Dreamworks, the list goes on.
Kane was the voice behind iconic characters such as Yoda from the "Star Wars" franchise, Professor Utonium from "The Powerpull Girls," and his voice was even used at Disney Theme Parks on their monorail system, according to IMDB.
His most recent Instagram post was of him with the original voiceover cast of "The Powerpuff Girls" while attending Lex Con earlier this year.
Kane is survived by his wife and nine children, six of whom he adopted and fostered.
