Truck crashes into gym in Playa Del Rey in wild video

A truck crashed into a gym in Playa Del Rey on Saturday causing extensive damage.

It happened around 9 a.m. when the truck crashed through the Real Fitness Gym on Pershing Drive and Campdell Street.

According to LAPD officers, the driver lost control of the truck for unknown reasons.

Authorities said no one in the gym was injured.

The gym posted video to Instagram saying the gym is normally busy at that time, but since it was a holiday weekend the gym was slower than normal and everyone from the 8 a.m. class had just left.

The post from the gym also said that the driver of the truck was not injured and was able to walk out.
