WASHINGTON - Incredible video shows the massive "bomb cyclone" from outer space as it battered the East Coast on Thursday.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released the imagery of the storm that was captured by its GOES-East satellite.
The much-anticipated wintry blast swept through DC overnight as it made its way up the East Coast and it did not disappoint snow enthusiast.
The heaviest snow totals were located along the beaches of Maryland and Virginia. The storm caused numerous closings and delays, as well as snarling traffic in some areas.
