When is Charlie Kirk's funeral? All we know so far

Funeral services have been announced for Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist who was assassinated Sept. 10 during an event at Utah Valley University. 

Turning Point USA, the nonprofit Kirk founded in 2012, began to announce details about the service over the weekend:

Big picture view:

Kirk’s funeral will take place Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. 

A website created in Kirk’s memory, fightforcharlie.com, says the doors will open at 8 a.m. local time to the stadium with the program beginning at 11 a.m.

Service details:

Turning Point USA has announced remarks will be delivered by Erika Kirk and several high-ranking U.S. administrative figures, including President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.

Secretaries Marco Rubio, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Pete Hegseth will also speak, as well as Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, Stephen Miller and Sergio Gor. 

Turning Point USA says more names will be announced in the coming days.

For context:

The headquarters of Turning Point USA, Kirk’s nonprofit, are based in Phoenix. His casket was flown back to Arizona by Air Force Two last week.

The dress code for the funeral is to wear Sunday best, in red, white, or blue.

Suspect Tyler Robinson charged

Meanwhile:

Authorities have charged a 22-year-old Utah man in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson. The charges issued Tuesday included aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, punishable by up to life in prison, and obstructing justice, punishable by up to 15 years in prison, and witness tampering. 

A judge will eventually determine whether Robinson could face the death penalty.
