Woman in serious condition after rollover in Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A woman is in serious condition after her vehicle struck a traffic pole and rolled on Wednesday morning.

The Phoenix Police Department tells Fox 10 that the woman hit the traffic police near 57th Avenue and Happy Valley Road. After the collision, the vehicle rolled and the woman was transported to a local hospital in very serious condition.

As a result of the crash, there will be closures on Happy Valley Road from 55th to 61st Avenues for several hours.

The crash is located near the lone entrance of Glendale Community College north campus. Students have been notified that the campus is closed until noon as police continue their investigation.
