Thousands of magnetic wireless power banks recalled over fire, burn hazards

Truststone Group is recalling about 32,400 XO Poppy Power Trip Magnetic Wireless Power Banks sold exclusively at TJX and Marshalls stores because their lithium-ion batteries can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards.

The recalled power banks have model number PYPBK5M and come in three versions: cream-colored (PY-PBK5M-CR2), cream with a pink bow print (PY-PBK5M-BW8) and black with a teddy bear print (PY-PBK5M-TB2).
The specific model number is printed on the bottom of the original packaging, directly above the barcode.
No incidents or injuries have been reported.

The power banks were sold nationwide at TJX and Marshalls stores from April 2025 through March 2026 for about $15. Truststone Group LLC of New York imported the products, which were manufactured in Vietnam.
Consumers should not throw the recalled power banks in the trash, curbside recycling bins or battery-recycling boxes at retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries pose a greater fire risk and require special handling.

Consumers should stop using the power banks immediately and contact Truststone Group for a full refund in the form of a virtual gift card. The gift card can be used at any business that accepts Mastercard.
Consumers should contact their local household hazardous waste collection center before bringing in the power bank to confirm that it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If the facility does not accept them, consumers should contact their municipality for further disposal instructions.
