Alliance of American Football awards team to Phoenix, names head coach

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The new Alliance of American Football professional football league has awarded a team to Phoenix and named the team's head coach.

During a news conference on Friday, the AAF announced Rick Neuheisel will be the head coach of the Phoenix team.

The Phoenix pro football team will play all of its home games at Sun Devil Stadium.

The AAF is scheduled to kick off on February 9, 2019.
