Booker, Durant lead Suns to win over short-handed Nets

Devin Booker's 200th 30-point game, and Kevin Durant's 24 points against his former team pushed the Phoenix Suns to a 108-84 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.

The Suns were without Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic, while the Nets were missing several key players, including Cam Thomas, Cam Johnson and D'Angelo Russell.

By the numbers:

Booker shot 14 of 24 from the field, including 3 of 8 from three-point range.

Durant hit 8 of 15 shots, including four three-pointers, in 30 minutes of action.

Center Nick Richards added 15 rebounds, a season high.

Point guard Tyus Jones had seven assists.

For the Nets, Keon Johnson led the team with 20 points and Nic Claxton grabbed a dozen rebounds.

Big picture view:

With the win, the Suns got back above .500 at 22-21. Phoenix is currently in 10th place in the Western Conference.

The Suns host the Washington Wizards on Jan. 25 at the Footprint Center.
