Devin Booker becomes Suns' all-time leading scorer in overtime loss to Blazers

Devin Booker scored 34 points, becoming the Suns' all-time leading scorer, but Phoenix couldn't come away with a win, losing to the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime.

The Blazers have won four straight games, including back-to-back wins over the Suns. The Suns are currently in 10th place in the Western Conference.

By the numbers:

Booker finished the game with 15,678 career points, surpassing the previous record of 15,666 held by Walter Davis.

Kevin Durant added 27 points for the Suns. Bradley Beal scored 25 off the bench.

Former Sun Deandre Ayton had 25 points and 20 rebounds for Portland. Ayton was drafted with the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by Phoenix.

What we know:

The Blazers had a 120-117 lead when Booker was fouled on a 3-pointer with 4.4 seconds left. Booker made the first two free throws but missed the third. 

Royce O’Neale’s 3-pointer for the Suns with 1.7 seconds left in regulation tied the game at 107, sending the contest into overtime.
