Scottsdale police: James Harden 'listed' in downtown incident
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) -- Scottsdale police said Monday that professional basketball player James Harden is listed in an incident that took place over the weekend.
According to Officer Kevin Watts, police is conducting an ongoing investigation surrounding an incident that took place at around 2:30 a.m. on August 11. The incident took place in the downtown Scottsdale entertainment district, but officials say it is "far too early" in the investigation to comment on Harden's scope of involvement in the incident.
Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that Harden is named in a police report filed by a woman who claims she was "roughed up" by Harden at a nightclub, after Harden noticed that she was recording video of a fight involving one of Harden's entourage.
TMZ is reporting that they have reached out to Harden multiple times for comment.
According to NBA.com, Harden was drafted by Oklahoma City with the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft, and is currently a guard for the Houston Rockets.
