Police Chases

The driver in a high-speed chase that started in Phoenix and ended in Tempe was allegedly impersonating law enforcement. The chase reached speeds of more than 100 mph down multiple Valley freeways. FOX 10's Kenzie Beach has the details.

A police pursuit resulted with two people being apprehended after their vehicle crashed into the Vee Quiva Casino in the Gila River Indian Community, according to a release by Mesa Police. Ron Hoon and Syleste Rodriguez discuss this, and other local and national headlines.

A police pursuit ended with a car on fire near the Loop 202 and Mesa Drive. Authorities say the driver was taken into custody. It's unknown how the vehicle ended up on fire.

Arizona DPS shared footage from a July 17 incident on US 60 in Mesa where a driver is seen fleeing from a trooper. It ended when a trooper deployed the Grappler device to stop the driver at the Higley Road exit.

A motorcyclist who fled from Arizona DPS Troopers on June 16 was arrested at a casino and the agency released footage of the whole ordeal. This video is from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

A Wickenburg officer is recovering after police say he was hit head-on by a pursuit suspect. The officer sustained minor injuries. The suspect was arrested and is accused of multiple charges.

Officers tried to stop a car that was being driven by Sergio Figueroa-Hernandez two separate times, but the suspect refused to pull over. However, he was later stopped by a device that DPS used in previous, unrelated occasions to bring non-compliant drivers to a halt.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a trooper tried to stop two suspects for speeding on the freeway, but they drove away and rammed a patrol vehicle. The sergeant inside was not hurt. The suspects were later arrested in Phoenix.
