Bear knocks down security guard

Video shows a bear walking through the kitchen of the St. Regis Aspen Resort in Colorado. Officials say a security guard was investigating reports of the animal. When the guard turned a corner and surprised the bear, the bear took a swipe at the guard, knocking him to the ground. The guard escaped, called 911, and was treated for scratches. Officials tranquilized the bear and removed it from the area.

Phoenix Zoo hosts 3-day 'Spooky Safari'

With Halloween around the corner, the Phoenix Zoo is hosting a three-day spooktacular experience. The zoo will host ?Spooky Safari? starting Oct. 25 through the 27, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night.
