Ryan Hadland, a Phoenix resident, has been sentenced to probation for sending a threatening email to Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates shortly after the 2022 election. Gates is not seeking re-election this year. He previously told The Washington Post that he suffers from PTSD from threats and harassment that he's received for upholding the results of the 2020 election.
