Eastbound I-10 will be closed between the State Route 51 Mini Stack and the U.S. 60 from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday for work on the Broadway Curve Improvement Project; westbound Loop 101 will be closed between 19th and 51st Avenues from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project; southbound Loop 101 will be closed between Pima Road/Princess Drive and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday for bridge work; southbound State Route 51 will be closed between the Loop 101 and the I-10/Loop 202 Mini Stack from 9 p.m. Friday through 9 p.m. Saturday for pavement sealing; southbound I-17 will be closed between Peoria Avenue and Indian School Road from 9 p.m. Saturday through 9 p.m. Sunday for pavement sealing; southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane during overnight hours this weekend between State Route 74 and the Loop 303 for pavement work; northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane during overnight hours this weekend between the Loop 303 and State Route 74 for pavement work; westbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to one lane between Priest Drive and 40th Street from 9 p.m. Sunday through 4 a.m. Monday for maintenance; and Grand Avenue will be narrowed to one lane in both directions in areas between R.H. Johnson Boulevard and Deer Valley Road during overnight hours this weekend for construction.

A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near the Stack in Phoenix, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said. The pedestrian was not identified.

The crash happened in the area of Loop 202 (Red Mountain) and McKellips. In a statement, DPS officials said the crash happened at around 10:16 a.m., when a flatbed tow truck on the right shoulder of the freeway was struck in the left rear by a pickup truck.

Red light cameras could be coming back to Phoenix. The city council says its aiming to bring the automated enforcement program back by next year, although the council knows that on paper, this is not a popular idea. FOX 10's Ashlie Rodriguez has the details.

The Arizona Department of Transportation received $26 million to upgrade a stretch of U.S. 93 northwest of Wickenburg to a four-lane highway.

A crash involving a motorcycle left one person dead on Loop 202 and another motorcycle crash involving a Goodyear Police vehicle left that motorcyclist critically injured on Oct. 22.

Red light cameras are coming back to intersections in Phoenix. The Maricopa Association of Governments says Phoenix accounts for 28 of the most dangerous intersections in Arizona. The cameras will be placed at intersections with a history of frequent accidents, and citations will be issued to violators.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says injuries were reported after a box truck struck a barrier railing on the Bell Road off-ramp along Interstate 17 in Phoenix.

At least one person was killed in a crash on Loop 202 in Phoenix on Sunday morning. The Oct. 20 crash happened on the highway near the eastbound I-10 interchange around 6 a.m., Arizona DPS said.
