School shooting in Iowa kills 1

High school students returning from break at one small Iowa town started the second half of their school year on a tragic note, as a gunman left one student dead and others injured. The gunman, who has been identified as a teenager, took his own life. FOX 10's Ellen McNamara has more.

Active shooter reported at Iowa high school

The shooting reportedly took place at Perry High School in Perry, Iowa. The Dallas County Sheriff's Office told FOX News they are investigating a potential active shooter, but did not give any more information. They could not comment on social media reports that the shooter took their own life, and could only say their investigation is ongoing.

Iowa firefighter arrested and charged in 13-arson spree

A 60-year-old Iowa firefighter, Kendall Eugene Rhoads, has been arrested and faces 13 counts of arson along with a charge of reckless use of fire or explosives, according to the Grundy County Sheriff's Office.
