Michael Turney released from jail
A day after a judge dismissed the murder case against Michael Turney, the 75-year-old walked out of jail a free man. Turney was on trial for the presumed murder of his stepdaughter Alissa, who hasn't been seen since she disappeared in 2001. Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sam Myers acquitted Turney of all charges, saying the state did not provide enough evidence to link him to the crime.

Officials with the Navajo County Sheriff's Office say a 15-year-old boy who went missing while swimming in Show Low Lake has been found dead. Officials have identified the swimmer as Christopher Hampton from the Phoenix area.
