Phoenix 'Canal Killer' is eligible for death penalty
A judge ruled Bryan Patrick Miller, the so-called "Canal Killer," is eligible for the death penalty. Miller was convicted of first-degree murder in the deaths of Angela Brosso and Melanie Bernas. The two women were found dead, mutilated and sexually assaulted along the Arizona Canal in 1992 and 1993. Miller's penalty phase will continue next week.
