Meet Nova: Dog rescued from an engine looking for a home
A dog found herself in a tight spot after getting stuck in a car engine in Phoenix. The 2-year-old pup needed a helping hand when, on Jan. 19, she was found wedged deep in the engine of a classic car. She got stuck after chasing a cat. After about 15 minutes, Arizona Humane Society workers and emergency crews were able to pull her to safety. She was taken to the AHS trauma hospital where they found just a few bumps and bruises. The pup, now named Nova, is fully recovered and ready for a loving home.
