Dig deeper:

Kari Schmidt recorded video and watched in disbelief as a family of black bears stole a bag off of one of their pickup trucks and scurried off with her cubs.

In the video, the mother bear can be seen inspecting the back of the pickup truck before banging on the truck bed, somewhat startling the family. The mother bear then climbed up in to the truck bed and snagged a large blue bag.

Someone from behind the camera can be heard yelling, "Hey, that's our food!"

What they're saying:

"We saw a mother bear with her two cubs a couple of miles down the road as we were driving in," Schmidt told Storyful. "The mom must have smelled our bag of food as we drove by because she was on a mission."
