Frankie Valli, whose legendary falsetto defines the sound of the 1960s rock group the Four Seasons, has canceled the remainder of the band’s 2026 tour dates.

The 92-year-old took to social media to make the announcement.

Frankie Valli health

What they're saying:

"I’m so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health," he posted on Instagram.

What we know:

The Four Seasons launched an extended farewell tour billed "The Last Encores" in October 2023.

Shows scheduled for April of this year were rescheduled to dates in summer and fall. Now, all eight performances remaining for 2026 in cities from Scottsdale, Arizona, to Detroit have been called off entirely:

  • June 26, Scottsdale, Arizona
  • July 17, Newark, New Jersey
  • July 18, Cohasset, Massachusetts
  • July 19, Uncasville, Connecticut
  • Sept. 18, Hershey, Pennsylvania
  • Sept. 19, Shipshewana, Indiana
  • Oct. 25, Medford, Massachusetts
  • Nov. 22, Detroit, Michigan

What we don't know:

Valli didn’t give any additional details about his health.

It also wasn’t known how soon ticketholders may be informed or reimbursed.

The Four Seasons

Dig deeper:

The Four Seasons found fame in the 1960s, but the band’s hits –- from "Sherry" to "December 1963 (Oh What a Night)" –- span decades.

Valli, the frontman, is the only original member still performing with the group.

What's next:

Valli appeared to keep the door open for future performances.

"I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon," his Instagram post also said. "Thank you for all your good wishes."
