Justin Timberlake announced on his social media platforms that he was postponing his show in New Jersey on Oct. 8 after sustaining an injury.

"I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show," the former *NSYNC member said in a post on his Instagram account.

"I have an injury that is preventing me from performing. I’m so disappointed not to see you all - but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve. Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always."

Timberlake made the announcement a little more than an hour before his show was set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.

The New Jersey show was a stop on Timberlake’s North American leg of his "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour."

Timberlake’s upcoming show is scheduled for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 11, according to his official website.
