Police: 1 in custody after body found in Phoenix wash

Police say one person is in custody after a body was found in a wash near a church in Phoenix.

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Police say one person is in custody after a body was found in a wash near a church in Phoenix.

According to Phoenix police, the body was found in a wash Friday morning near 35th Avenue and Beardsley.

Police say a fight broke out between two men before shots were fired.

One person was found dead at the scene and another is in custody.

The victim's identity has not been released.
