Police: Man found shot to death at Phoenix motel

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A man was found shot to death at a downtown Phoenix motel early Tuesday morning.

The Phoenix Police Department tells FOX 10 that a security guard discovered the victim's body inside a room at the EZ-8 Motel near Interstate 17 and 7th Street.

When the security guard heard a gunshot, he opened one of the room's doors and found the victim slumped over with a gunshot wound. After this, a witness says they saw a blue car speeding out of the parking lot.

Police are interviewing additional witness at the motel to see if they have anymore information.
