Pregnant woman grazed by several bullets

Phoenix Police are investigating after a pregnant woman was shot at multiple times.

Officers responded to the area of 32nd street and Roosevelt just around 2 a.m. We're told the incident started with an argument between two groups of people outside of the home. One of the groups left but returned a short time later in a white Chevy Malibu. police say, as the car drove by, someone inside Someone inside that vehicle reportedly fired about 10 to 15 shots in the direction of the house.

The pregnant woman, said to be in her 20s, was hit by gunfire. She was rushed to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim's 3-year-old was right by her side, and he was not hurt. Police confirm the victim was grazed by the bullets, and she has been released from the hospital. The woman spoke with Fox 10 reporter Marcy Jones and showed her several different wounds where bullets grazed her. She estimates the suspect fired 14 rounds toward her.

Police believe the two groups of people know each other from their place of work, but the victims say they do not believe the shooting is work-related and do not know why they would be targeted.
