Applications open for chefs under 30 to enter the global S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition

The search is on for the next generation of culinary talent as applications are now being accepted worldwide for chefs under 30 to compete in the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition.

Now in its seventh year, the competition works to discover talented chefs who foster creativity and support them as they develop their own culinary voice. 

Throughout the competition, the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy says chefs are assessed on three key elements: technical skill, creativity, and personal belief.

Applications are open to chefs:   

  • Under the age of 30
  • Who have worked for at least one year as Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie or Commis Chef (you do not need to have worked for 1 year in the same restaurant)
  • Currently employed

The application period runs from February 16 - June 9, 2026.  To apply, read all the Competition Regulations and visit the official application platform to apply.
