SILENT WITNESS: Armed man robs Walgreens in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Phoenix Police are looking for a man who robbed a Walgreens in west Phoenix on July 5, 2017.

At approximately 3:47 p.m., the suspect entered the Walgreens near 91st Avenue and Indian School Road. He immediately went to the counter and tried to purchase something.

When the clerk opened the register door to complete the transaction, the suspect pulled out a black pistol and demanded money from the drawer.

Police say he then fled the area in a black four door pickup truck with a toolbox.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 to 50 years old, about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a red shirt, a baseball hat and sunglasses.
