FIFA World Cup group schedule: Full list of matchdays

All game matches and locations have been revealed for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Tournament. 

Here’s a look at the schedule: 

World Cup groups

Big picture view:

On Friday, the draw ceremony for the FIFA World Cup divided a record 48 teams into 12 groups of four: 

  • Group A: Mexico, South Korea, South Africa, European Playoff D
  • Group B: Canada, Switzerland, Qatar, European Playoff A
  • Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Scotland, Haiti
  • Group D: USA, Australia, Paraguay, European Playoff C
  • Group E: Germany, Ecuador, Ivory Coast, Curaçao
  • Group F: Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia, European Playoff B
  • Group G: Belgium, Iran, Egypt, New Zealand
  • Group H: Spain, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde

World Cup Group A schedule

Big picture view:

Mexico, South Africa, South Korea and the European Playoff D winner (DEN / MKD / CZE / IRL) are playing in Group A. Their match days are June 11, June 18 and June 24, 2026, with games in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Atlanta and Monterrey. 

Of note:

For the first time in history, an opening tournament match will be repeated, Andres Cantor announced. South Africa and Mexico will kick off the tournament in Mexico City, reminiscent of their opening match in 2010 in Johannesburg.

Canada, Qatar, Switzerland and the European Playoff A winner (ITA / NIR / WAL / BIH) are playing in Group B. Their match days are June 12, June 13, June 18 and June 24, 2026, with games in Toronto, San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Seattle.

Of note:

The 1,000th match in the history of the FIFA World Cup Final Tournament will take place between Japan and Tunisia on June 20 in Monterrey.

The World Cup final will kick off at 3 p.m. ET on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
