The triple-digits are gone (for now), as we expect temperatures to cool down in Phoenix this weekend and into next week.

Happy Friday! We're still in record-breaking territory, but changes are coming beginning this weekend.

We're getting ready to say goodbye, at least for now, to triple-digit temperatures.

Thursday will be warm in the Valley, but we're nearing the end of a stretch of historic heat!

Temperatures are expected to be on a downward slide in the days to come. Meanwhile, there is also a slight chance of rain for the Valley this weekend.

Phoenix is expected to reach 101 degrees on Wednesday, which would break the previous record of 99°F.

The Southwest is in for another big week of record warmth. FOX 10's Erica Horvatin has more of when we can expect some relief from the triple-digit temperatures later this week. 

More record-breaking temps are expected on Tuesday in the Valley, with highs near triple digits.

Extreme heat warnings continue in the Valley through 8 p.m. Sunday.
