Arizona to take part in IRS' free eFile pilot
Arizona will be among 13 states that will take part in a free eFile tax return system that the IRS is piloting. The program will create a direct file system, which came about as a result of funding the agency received form the Inflation Reduction Act. To start with, the program will only be available for those filing individual tax returns, and it will only be available to those claiming specific credits and deductions. The IRS is still working out the details of exactly who that will cover.
