Cardinals David Johnson and wife Meghan donate locker full of games, toys to Ryan House

Bringing some cheer and happiness to children undergoing medical treatment, Cardinals running back David Johnson and his wife Meghan gave back in a huge way.

"This is really why I play football, just to be able to give back to the community and give back to people in need," said David Johnson.

The fourth of its kind, the couple and their foundation donated David's Locker to the children of Ryan House. Inside is every kids' favorite from Nintendo Switches and iPads to noise-canceling headphones and video games.

"It's going to give our kids an opportunity to use technology that they may or may not have at home and here in a setting where they feel supported and can do all kinds of fun things," said Tracy Leonard-Warner with Ryan House.

After becoming parents themselves, David and Meghan say they understand the resources seriously ill children and their families might need during tough times.

"We know what that's like and if something ever happened to our kids, we would want the same support so this just means the world to us," said Meghan Johnson, David Johnson's wife.

They hope David's Locker gives the children some outlet of relief through something that may be able to ease the pain.
