Costco patio swings recalled after injuries linked to fall hazards

Thousands of patio swings sold at Costco were recalled for possible injury risk.
Consumer Product Safety Commission officials said in a May 14 recall notice that the swing seat can detach from the frame while in use, posing a risk of severe injury or death from a fall hazard.

World Bright International Limited received reports of the swing seat detaching from the swing frame, resulting in eight reports of injury, including "impact injuries to the head and arms."

Approximately 18,500 Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swings were recalled by the company. These swings have a black metal frame, black metal swing arms, a fabric canopy, and a padded seat in brown outdoor wicker.
Consumer Product Safety Commission officials say the products were sold at Costco retail stores and online at Costco.com between February 2026 and March 2026 in the price range of $549 and $649.
