The agency added in a recall notice that "when the socks are worn during high-intensity activities that generate a combination of heat, excessive friction, moisture and pressure, the socks may pose an injury hazard, including burns."

What heated sock products were recalled?

Why you should care:

Approximately 207,806 32 Degrees Heated Socks are involved in the recall. These socks were sold in three sizes (medium, large, extra large), all in the color black. "32° HEAT" appears on the battery pack casing, battery pack packaging, user manual and the exterior retail packaging for the products.

Consumer Product Safety Commission officials noted that the socks were sold at Costco stores and online at Costco.com between August 2025 and March 2026 in the price range of $30 and $46.

Are refunds available if I have the heated socks?

What you can do:

Consumers with these heated socks should immediately stop using them and return the product to Costco to receive a full refund.
