Graco issued a voluntary recall of select infant car seat products because of a structural problem identified during a post-production laboratory test.

Which Graco car seats were recalled?

Why you should care:

Graco said the recall impacts a limited number of SnugRide Turn & Slide products sold between January 2026 and March 2026 at Amazon, Babylist, Target, Walmart and on GracoBaby.com.

The company stated in a release that no other Graco rotating car seats are affected, including EasyTurn and Turn2Me, and other SnugRide car seat models.

The affected SnugRide Turn & Slide product numbers are listed below:

Infant car seats:

  • 2231809 (noir/black)
  • 2231887 (sandstone/tan)
  • 2231806 (mulberry/girl-plum)
  • 2231885 (sandstone/tan)
  • 2231881 (noir/black)
  • 2231884 (noir/black)

Car seat base:

  • 2231810 (black)

Travel system:

  • 2243083 (noir/black)

If I have the recalled car seat, what should I do with it?

What you can do:

Owners of the recalled car seats should stop using it immediately and remove the seat from the base and find the label on the base showing the model number, date of manufacture, and serial number.

Consumers should also upload a photo of the white label on the base displaying the model number, date of manufacture, and serial number.

Once this is done, you will need to complete a registration form and choose your preferred replacement option. But Graco is urging consumers not to return the car seat to a store. Graco will also provide owners of the recalled car seats with replacement options for free.
